FORMAT FOR ONLINE WEBINAR COURSES
As a general rule, online webinar courses are designed to enhance skills for therapists, counselors, and other medical professionals. Although these courses are written for licensed professionals, you do not have to be a licensed professional to attend.
The format for these seminars is as follows: There will be a one-hour video that you will watch on your own, followed by a 30-minute video conference discussion of the material contained in the video. For courses of longer than one hour in duration there will be multiple one-hour videos followed by multiple 30-minute video conferencing discussions. For each one-hour video there will be 30 minutes of video conferencing discussion. When the total number of hours (both online educational video and video conferencing) has been reached, you will be sent a link for a post-test. When you pass the post-test for the course with a score of 80% or higher, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for that course containing your name, number of hours earned, and date completed.
NOTE: There is no partial credit available for webinar courses! In order to receive credit for a webinar course, you MUST attend all webinar sessions as well as watching all the online videos for a particular course. Additionally, you must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher. You have unlimited attempts to pass the final; however you will need to achieve a score of 80% or higher to pass. If, due to circumstances beyond your control you are unable to attend a scheduled webinar, you will be added to the next scheduled webinar free of charge; optionally, you may also schedule a one-on-one video conference with the instructor at your mutual convenience. Additional charges may apply for one-on-one make-up sessions. Some courses may have one make-up date for those who may have missed one video conference; however, it is your responsibility to check if make-up sessions are available before missing a session.
FORMAT FOR FREE INFORMATIONAL WEBINARS
For free informational seminars, you must be registered at least 24 hours in advance so you may be emailed log-in instructions and a passkey for your chosen webinar. Free informational seminars are 30 minutes long each. You may find it helpful to have any questions prepared ahead of time, and you may use the contact form to submit such questions for expediency. These informational seminars may not be used as make-up seminars for continuing education webinars.
FORMAT FOR SUPERVISION SEMINARS
Supervision seminars are for coaching supervision, play therapy supervision, and for mental health professionals seeking additional supervision for topics related to course work offered by the Mindful Ecotherapy Center. Such seminars are offered both as individual and as group supervision. If seeking individual supervision, be sure to register for an individual supervision session.
