Mindful Moments Episode 13 ABCs of Mindfulness
If we have consequences in our lives that we don’t want, we can mindfully change these consequences using the ABCD formula.
In ABCD, A=Action, B=Beliefs, C=Consequences, and D=Dispute.
The only thing we have direct  control  over  in  the  ABCD  Model  is  our  Beliefs.  We can’t directly change the consequences we get for our actions. In other words, we can’t control how people respond to what we do and say. We  can  only  change  our  consequences  indirectly  by  changing  our  beliefs.

As a free service to the ecotherapy community, the Mindful Ecotherapy Center now offers a FREE online course in Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy entitled Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy: An Introduction. This course is now available to all interested health care professionals!
This self-paced online course has been approved by the NBCC for 5 hours of online continuing education.

This is the research phase of the online program. If you are selected to participate, you will be sent one lesson per week for 12 weeks. The Natural Eating Program will include a Natural Eating Food Tracker spreadsheet in Excel format that you may download for your own personal use during the program. We are researching the effectiveness of our future Natural Eating Program, which will include mindfulness and ecotherapy exercises. Participants will receive all online course materials for FREE in exchange for doing a brief survey at the beginning and the end of the program. The course is free until December 31, 2021. Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy Certification Course
This course is designed to be completed over the course of a year and will provide 60 online continuing education hours in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, based largely on the Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Model. Milton Erickson is widely considered to be the father of modern-day hypnotherapy, and his solution-focused approach is the basis for this in-depth course in hypnotherapy.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
This four-module course will examine all four skill sets of DBT and give practical tips and techniques on implementing all of the DBT skills. This course is different from other online DBT courses in that we will be looking at how to blend DBT skills with Ecotherapy skills to enhance the benefits of both.

My Animal Legend
Based upon Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey, this My Animal Legend program uses Narrative Therapy to help participants journey to their own inner selves. Therapists and Counselors may also use Animal-Assisted Therapy and Animal-Assisted Interventions in this program, and the training covers the tools and the techniques necessary to make this happen.
